[Think] : To Be Balanced

To be balanced is to be firmly set on the seat of self-respect.

Contemplation:
When we are set in the seat of self-respect, we will be able to take
criticism and praise in the right way. Our own inner balance will make
us accept both with the right attitude. We are neither too carried
away with praise nor do we fall when faced with criticism. If we work
with ego, we will be upset and will lose our balance by even a little
criticism that comes our way.

Application:
Whenever I receive criticism or praise, I need to check and make sure
that I don't lose my balance by being carried away. I need to remind
myself that I am a leader, and I need to lead rather than follow. To
lose my stage of stability and balance by something that comes from
outside is to be a follower. I only need to take some learning from
everything that happens and incorporate it in my life.
