Comfortably Numb [ Pink Floyd ]

(Listening 1 of my ALL times fav track)

Hello?
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now,
I hear you're feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I'll need some information first.
Just the basic facts.
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.

O.K.
Just a little pinprick.
There'll be no more aaaaaaaaah!
But you may feel a little sick.
Can you stand up?
I do believe it's working, good.
That'll keep you going through the show
Come on it's time to go.

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

[Think] : Creativity

True creativity is to bring newness at every act.

Contemplation:
Creativity doesn't mean creating something new or just to do the same things again and again in different ways. If we do that, since the seed did not change, the result (the fruit) remains the same. So we need to understand and creatively use all resources available to us. This is true creativity.

Application:
Whenever I seem to be going round and round in circles, I need to check how creatively I am using the resources that are available to me. I then need to make extra effort to think of something that I have never tried before. Only then am I able to use all the resources available creatively.

~ Powers Behind Happiness ~

" Through the power of truth there
is wealth, and through the power of
peace there is health. Together they
give happiness. Happiness is earned
by those whose actions, attitude, and
attributes are pure and selfless. "

[Think] : To Be Responsible

To be responsible at all times is to get the right of freedom.

Contemplation:
The one who is able to fulfill all responsibilities in the right way is the
one who wins the trust of those around him. So when we are using all the
resources available with us in the right way, we are further given the space
to use these resources.

Application:
All I need to do is to make sure I check each day if I am making proper use
of the resources that I have. These resources include the resource of my
time, my virtues, my knowledge etc. when I use these resources properly I
am able to win the trust of others and get the freedom and space for myself
in my work and relationships

Bad Day [ Daniel Powter ]

Where is the moment we needed the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces everytime
And I don't need no carryin' on

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carryin' on

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day

(Oh.. Holiday..)

Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole thing turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well oh that strong
And I'm not wrong

So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
You've seen what you like
And how does it feel for one more time
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day

[Think] : Knowledge Is Enriched

Knowledge is enriched with the tool of silence.

Contemplation:
When difficult situations come our way, we are not able to keep our mind calm. So also we do a lot of things to correct the situation. Yet it is found that the more the activity, the more it becomes difficult to understand and relate to the essence.

Application:
When some pressurizing situation demands that I give my best, let me make the practice of having at least a few moments of silence. Silence just doesn't mean absence of sound, but it also means the silence of the mind where I am able to stabilize myself in some positive experience for some time. This will enable me to get the right response from within.

The Tragedy

Now Earth shakes
A Fear Generates
And then Deaths Wakes

Now No one knows what is left
Even Souls in bodies have been theft

Now no house
Now no street
No! Iam not ready to dig down deep.

Now I cant speak
And eyes start to leak.

Now no one is here.
And only Screams are there.

( To All those who got effected and to those who r no more )
x----------x----------x----------x----------x----------x----------x----------x----------x----------x

Earthquake of magnitude 7.6 a real disaster, collasping The Margalla Towers in Islamabad, wiping out the villages in Muzaffarabad, Mansehra, Balakot & other northern areas of Pakistan.

Then those 4oo children who got buried under the roof of their school ... and many of the parents did come to claim as if their child was in there too cuz now they r also no more. **wordless**

And when all this happens? In the starting week of the Holy month of Ramadan..

Now Amazingly the attendance in mosques has increased exponentially, i know it sounds funny but as this 'bayhis qoom' gets to see the powers of Allah and sense the fear of HIM then they get on the track.

It was just a warning of what HE is capable to do in just 6 mins.

I pray for all those who have became the victim of this and may Allah rest their souls in peace and also it is the time to ask forgiveness for the sins we all have done cuz time is running out and no one knows that who is next ?

May ALLAH help us guide us and protect us. (Ameen)

' All Eyes Are The Same '

They're all the same. You may think how you feel and what you go through is your own unique experience, your own doing, unlike others' experiences. You want to believe what is that you think and expect is part of your individuality.

Only it is not.

Culture and customs may change the flavour of one's taste, but the basic concept remains constant throughout societies, the concept of emotional hunger and fulfillment of desires. Men and women throughout ages, throughout demographics, throughout cultures... feel, experience, and think all the same. Patterns do evolve into more educated, more understandable notions, but that is just seasoning to the core food for thought.

Values will be values. Desires will be desires. Sins will be sins. Expectations will be expectations. Emotions will be emotions. Evil will be evil. Goodness will be goodness.

Reactions to a given action may have different colours of expression, but those are similar reactions, everywhere. Different wavelengths tuned differently, creating different colours, doesn't really make for a difference anyway. Waves are the same, only different lengths and ebbs and flows.

Yet societies and civilizations limit themselves to the minor variations in vain, superficial occurrences, and turn them into beliefs, while the similarity of the Core remains hidden to their intellectuals. This core remains the same. This Core is unchangeable. This Core only wears a different set of costume according to the surroundings and conditions, which themselves are just superficial manifestations. Like different clothing for different seasons really does not make one season or its appropriate clothing constant.

All conflicts stem out of this myopic view of variation in the nature of the Core. One society may be experiencing a given variation at any given point in time or space, but that doesn't change the fact that the Core is actually constant. It's like a season will never be a representative of some belief. Heat is unbearable in deserts, but so desirable, at the same time, on the icebergs, and vice versa. Any new religion born in the ice-cold northern hemisphere could project hell as unbearably frozen, but that would never change the concept of Hell itself.

Yes, no matter which eyes of relevant society watch the atmosphere, eyes are the same. Some short-sighted, some far.

Well today is the nite before the first 'Roza',

Yes iam glad and excited this time too, as always...

Silent Wires

Noisey Voices of Strangers all around, someone is crying, someone is screaming, someone is delighted, and someone has no expression to depict their life and it's sorroundings. You are also a part of it now and this journey begins from the very day when u get to on the shutter of ur eyes.

Life, a puzzle of mystery as no one can predict it's start, no one can predict the end too.

oh well..

Shadows of Evil Darkness is up & all around and it is a reality, you are slaves of your own decisions, showing the strength of character in you. Take a look at the dusty wind of hatred, selfishness and being self-centeredness. It is just nothing but a early death of you before u get to die.

Untitled [ Simple Plan ]

[Listening The Track]

I open my eyes
I try to see but I'm blinded by the white light
I can't remember how
I can't remember why
I'm lying here tonight

And I can't stand the pain
And I can't make it go away
No I can't stand the pain

How could this happen to me
I made my mistakes
Got no where to run
The night goes on
As I'm fading away
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me

Everybody's screaming
I try to make a sound but no one hears me
I'm slipping off the edge
I'm hanging by a thread
I wanna start this over again

So I try to hold onto a time when nothing mattered
And I can't explain what happened
And I can't erase the things that I've done
No I can't

How could this happen to me
I made my mistakes
Got no where to run
The night goes on
As I'm fading away
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me

I made my mistakes
Got no where to run
The night goes on
As I'm fading away
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me
' Iam Empty '

Punch line

Simplistic minds tend to take things on their face value. Which is fine as long as simplicity does not cross the threshold to become plain uninquisitive dumbness. Afterall, it is an idiot who takes what's intentionally provided to him or her repeatedly and never questions.

Some would say there is no harm in taking without questioning as long as the provider's motives are right, or true, or correct. This is where the trouble lies.

What makes something right, or true, or correct is one's own set of learning, experiences or observations. This may not be right, true or correct to someone else.

So how would the right, the true or the correct constitute the 'just' acceptance for our idiot? As any mental institution's inner workings demonstrate, it is, ultimately, the supervisor's discretion which decide what is right, true and correct for a mentally divergent - or an idiot.

One's own diagnosis and prognosis purely on grounds of experience with such complex, and yet not fully understood human nature, are criminal.

Of course, our idiot remains at the mercy of those who 'prescribe' various stuff that's right, or true, or correct for him. And he or she is supposed to accept those - encouraged and endorsed fully by those who practice the same.

Simplistic minds are supposed to accept things without questioning. As spoken, as delivered, as written, as doctrined, as prescribed. It is indeed bliss.

But not everything or everyone speaks plainly. Just because the audience is simplistic, doesn't necessarily mean the deliverer must address to them ideas that may contain complexity.

Some ideas may require a certain degree of pre-schooling, some prior knowledge, like a basic understanding of arithmetic before embarking on theoretical physics.

But what if the audience is as simple as preschoolers, and the ideas that must be delivered, must appear plain and simple and easily understood?

Wouldn't it then be more appropriate for the deliverer to simplify his or message through analogies? Until someone qualifies enough in the future to expound on those? For surely all are mortal and one just cannot hang around forever.

Analogies. The greater the message, the more fantastic the analogy.

You’re Beautiful [ James Blunt ]

My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.
She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
Yeah, she caught my eye,
As we walked on by.
She could see from my face that I was,
Flying high,
And I don't think that I'll see her again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,I will never be with you.

Is That What It Is?

One may find beauty in the smallest of the things. Or one may not find it in anything at all.
Does that make beauty really a subjective appreciation then?

And does beauty have to be appreciated
all the time?

What if one finds beauty and is incapable of appreciating it for a moment?

Obviously that can't be called appreciation, can that?

Or is the object presumed to be momentarily
devoid of any beauty? What if the object indeed carries immense beauty and the observer simply
does not find it appreciative?

Would that reflect on the observer's lack of beauty appreciation or
would that reflect on the nature of the object's radiation of the thing called beauty?

Could it be that the observer's senses have encountered a barrier which forbids him/her to appreciate beauty?

What could that barrier be?

Does everyone find the same amount of beauty in a given object?

And does that variable sense of appreciation reflect on the quality of the object?

To whom will it be relied on to 'qualify' the true quality of beauty?

The one accustomed to discerning it more often, hence 'experienced' in appreciating beauty?

Won't that disqualify the observer immediately on the grounds that his/her observation is based on a gradual 'understanding' of beauty and not 'appreciation'?

What if appreciation is a short lived qualifier for the observer?

What if 'understanding' is really the prime criterion to judge beauty?

What if understanding is combined with appreciation? Would that surely qualify the observer to truly enjoy beauty?

And what is the result of this beauty evaluation?

How long can one continue to appreciate that given beauty with the same vigor and vitality with which one began to appreciate it?

Isn't beauty, like every mortal quality, capable of fading over time, or exposure?

Won't 'understanding' of beauty then become the qualifier instead of 'appreciation'?

Understanding in the sense that one understands that: the object indeed has beauty as perceived and appreciated by one once, but, as in all mortal qualities, it has somehow faded from the perception of the observer only, and would not mean that it has faded from the object at all. Wouldn't 'understanding' then take over and provide a rationale for the observer to continue appreciating the object?

Isn't love for a woman a quality which can be beautiful to a man?

Doesn't love require not only appreciation, but understanding?

Doesn't appreciation fade, but understanding grow?

Isn't that how one keeps the quality called love alive in a relationship?

Isn't love one of the, if not the only, beautiful qualities everyone is capable of observing at any given point in time in one's life? How sad then that so many 'grow out of love' before giving 'understanding' a chance.

A Simple Thought

This is the beginning of a new day.I have been given this day to use as I will.I can waste it, or use it, or it can be filled with pettiness. What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever, but I shall hold something which I have traded for it.It may be no more than a memory, but if it is a worthy one I shall not regret the price.I want it to be gain not loss, good not evil, success not failure.
